Alpha Channel
For those people who have trouble with Alpha Channels,
I have included Selections. Use them instead of the Alpha Channel
when the instructions say so.

Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.





   
Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Set your Foreground colour to #c33e2d
Set your Background colour to #9c9337

Step One:
Place Gradient in PSP Gradient Folder
Place Pattern in PSP Pattern Folder
Place Texture in PSP Texture Folder
Place Mask in PSP Mask Folder
Place Preset in Preset Folder
Place Flexify2 Preset where you can find it (I usually leave it in the supplies folder)

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.


Open Alpha Channel
Duplicate and close Original
Rename copy of Alpha Channel Raster 1
We will work on the copy where the selections are hidden

Change Foreground Colour to Gradient Sat_Noel.pspgradient as follows:



Flood Fill Alpha Channel with Gradient

Step Two:
Effects/Image Effects/SeamlessTiling as follows:



Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance More
Layers/Duplicate

Step Three:
  Effects/Plugins/Flaming Pear/Flexify 2/ Flexify 2 Settings.q2q Preset OR as follows:



Step Four:
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection #1 from Alpha Channel
Promote Selection to Layer
Effects/Texture Effects/Texture/Canvas, Fine as follows:



Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen More
Effects/Plugins/Alien Skin Eye Candy 5/Impact/Glass/D.D.WhoMe Preset OR as follows:

Step Five:
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection #2 from Alpha Channel

Maximise AsianBackground Mist
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste into Selection
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen More

Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste a New Layer

Leave where it is

Step Six:
Layer/Merge/Merge Down
Edit/Repeat twice
Layers/duplicate
Select Copy of Raster 1 Layer

Step Seven:
Close off Copy of Raster 1 Layer and Copy 2 of Raster1 Layer
Select Raster 1 Layer
Layer/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Background Colour

Maximise Signature.png
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place at bottom of Layer

Add your Watermark
Layers/Merge All Flatten
Image/Resize/1000 pixels wide - height will adjust itself
File/Export/JPEG Optimiser/Compression Value 20
