Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #d8d3e5
Set your Background colour to #796fab

Step One:
Place Texture in PSP Texture Folder
Place Mask in PSp Mask Folder
Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

Open Alpha Channel
Duplicate and close Original Alpha Channel
We will work on the copy where all the selections are hidden

Step Two:
Change Foreground Colour to Foreground/Background Linear Gradient as follows:



Flood fill with Foreground Gradient

Step Three:
Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask from Disk (findsdtMask290-701167.jpg)  as follows:



Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance More
Layers/Merge/Merge Group
Effects/Plugin/Filters Unlimited 2.0/Convolution Filters/Emboss (Light)/Default Settings

Step Four:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Layers/Arrange/Move Down
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Effects Texture Effects/Texture as follows:



Layers/New Raster Layer
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection #1 from Alpha Channel
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Layers/New Raster Layer
Maximise your Background Image
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste into Selection

Selection/Select None

Step Five:
Select Group Raster 1 Layer

Change Background Gradient settings to Angle 45 Repeats 3
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient

Repeat Shadowlab/Direction 135

Promote Background Layer

Image/Canvas Size as follows:

Magic Wand with the following settings:



Select the blank area of this Layer
Hit the Delete button 3 times

Maximise your bridal image
