Before opening PSP download and install plugins
Place Pattern in PSP Pattern File
Place Mask in PSP Mask File
Place Font in PSP Font File
Open graphics in PSP duplicate and close original
Make sure rulers are on. Go View/Rulers and activate

Settings remain the same throughout this tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Colour Swatch




Step One:
File/New/ Transparent  700 pixels x 700 pixels as follows



Flood fill with Foreground colour.
Effects/Plugins/Mura's Meister/Cloud with the following settings:




Effects/Distortion Effects/Pixilate with the following settings:



Step Two:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Background Colour
Find Reveries Mask 1250181443.jpg
Layers/New Mask Layer/from Image (1250181443_nikita_masque) with the following settings:



Layers/Merge/Merge Group
Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance

Step Three:
Maximise MKM March 2012 Country Series_T2.psp image
Edit/Copy    Edit/Paste as New Layer
Objects/Align/Top
Adjust Opacity to 60%
Layers/Duplicate
Image/Resize/80% as follows:



Step Four:
Select Group Raster 2 Layer
Activate your Selection Tool and click on Custom Selection Tool icon as follows:




 

Layers/Merge/Merge Dowqn
Select Group Raster Effects/Plugins/MuRa's Meister/Perspective Tiling with the following settings:



Selections/Select None

Step Five:
Maximise August Series Art 2-3.pspimage
Edit/Copy    Edit/Paste as New Layer
Layers/Arrange/Bring to top
Image/Resize 80%
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen
Place at the bottom left hand corner.  See my image for placement
Activate Selection Tool with the following settings:



Draw a loop as shown in the image below to get rid of the dark area:




Edit/Clear
Change Blend Mode to Hard Light or Blend of your choice

Step Six:
 Change Foreground Colour to Pattern Gold Mosacia.jpg with the following settings:



Change Background colour to #845c6f
Text Tool with the following settings:





You may have to change the size of the font according to your version of PSP.
Write the words:

        The Best is yet to be.
Convert to Raster Layer
Adjust Sharpness/Sharpen
Effects/3D/Drop Shadow with the following settings:



See my image for placement
Layers/Merge/Merge all Flatten

Step Seven:
Selections/Select All
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels white
Selections/Invert
Flood fill Border with Foreground Pattern
Effects/3D/Inner Bevel with the following settings:



Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow BUT change colour to BLACK
Repeat Drop Shadow/ -1 Vertical and Horizontal settings

Step Eight:
Change Background Colour to Pattern D.D. PATTERN 6.jpg as follows:



Selections/Select All
Image/Add Border/25 pixels white
Selections/Invert
Flood fill with pattern
Effects/3D/Inner Bevel
Selections/Select All

Step Nine
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels white
Selections/Invert
Flood fill with Gold Mosacia
Effects/3D/Inner Bevel
Effects/3D/Drop Shadow
Repeat Drop Shadow with +1 Vertical and Horizontal settings
Selections/Select All
Image/ Add Borders/30 white
Selections/Invert
Flood fill with Background Pattern
Effects/Plugins/I.C. NET Software/Filters Unlimited/Distortion/Surface Tension with the following settings:

Selections/Select All

Step Ten:
Image/Add Borders/10 pixels white
Selections/Invert
Flood fill with Gold Mosacia
Effects/3D/Inner Bevel
Effects/3D/Drop Shadow
Repeat Drop Shadow with -1 Vertical and Horizontal settings
Selections/Select None.
Maximise D.D. Corner 1.png
Edit/Copy    Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place in top left hand corner.  See my image for placement
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen More
Effects/3D/Drop Shadow
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Top Left Mirror.

Step Eleven:
Maximise D.D.Signature.png

Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste as New Layer

Place at bottom of image

Add your Watermark
Layers/Merge All Flatten

Image/Resize/900 pixels

Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen
File/Export/JPEG Optimiser/Compression Value 20
