Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.



Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #45698d
Set your Background colour to #5d6545

Step One:
Place Mask in PSP Mask Folder
Place Gradient in PSP Gradient Folder
Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

File/New/New Image 900 pixels x 600 pixels as follows:



Change Foreground Colour to Gradient BlueLagoon_CC.jgd/Rectangular Gradient as follows:



Flood fill with Gradient

Step Two:
Effects/Plugins/Medhi/Sorting Tiles as follows:



Selections/Select All
Layers/New Raster Layer
Maximise Irish Scene.jpg
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste into Selection
Selections/Select None
Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask Misai_Mask_06 from disk as follows:



Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance More
Layers/Merge/Merge Group

Step Three:

Minimise for now

Step Five:
Selections/Select All
Image/Add Borders 10 pixels/White
Selections/Invert
Change Background Colour to Foreground/Background Sunburst Gradient as follows:



Flood fill with Background Gradient
Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited 2.0/Graphics Plus/Cross Shadow/Default Settings
Selections/Invert
(some versions may need a New Layer here)
Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out as follows:



Repeat Cut Out with -1 H and V settings

Step Six:
Image/Add Borders/60 pixels/Foreground Colour

Layers/New Raster Layer
Maximise copy of image made previously
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste into Selection
