Before opening PSP, download plugins and install
Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.



Set your Foreground colour to #f1e1c2
Set your Background colour to #b4b454
Contrast #7d0e10

Step One:

Place Masks in PSP Mask Folder
Instal Font

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

File/New/Transparent 800 pixels x 700 pixels as follows:

Flood fill with Foreground Colour
Layer/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Background Colour.

Step Two:
Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask from Disk. Select 1250181194_nikita_masques as follows:

Layers/Merge/Merge Group

Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen

Maximise Fruit Bowl.jpg

Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as New Layer

Effects/Image Effects/Offset as follows:

Layers/Merge/Merge Visible

Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen

Step Three:
Activate Text Tool with the following settings:

You may have to change the size of the font according to your version of PSP.

Change Foreground Colour to #7d0e10 or colour of your choice

Write :

The Trees

That Are Slow to Grow,

Bear the best Fruit.

Or words of your choice.

Convert to Raster Layer

Effects/3D/Inner Bevel as follows:

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow as follows:



Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen
Place in the top right hand corner
(see my image for placement)
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten

Step Four:
Layers/Duplicate
Image/Resize/85% as follows:



Still on the top layer
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 3.0/Drop Shadow as follows:



Repeat Drop Shadow BUT change Direction to 135

Step Five:
Maximise Element_ruby brad.png
Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Place in top left hand corner
(see my image for placement)
Colourise if you wish.
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen More
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Top Left Mirror
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten
Effects/Image Effects/Free Rotate 5 Degrees/Left as follows:


Step Six:
Activate Background Layer
Adjust Blur/Gaussian Blur with the following settings:




Effects/Plugins/Two Moons/BlurChecks as follows;




Step Seven:
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels/Black
Change Foreground Colour back to #f1e1c2
Selections/Select All
Image/Add Borders/25 pixels/Foreground Colour
Selections/Invert
Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask 1250181186_nikita_masques .jpg
Layers/Merge/Merge Group
Selections/Select None
Layers/New Raster Layer
Layers/Arrange/Move Down
Flood fill with Background Colour

Step Eight:
Maximise 0029_ScrollWorks.png
Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as New Layer

Image/Mirror/Mirror Horizontal Or Image/Mirror

Step Nine:
Image/Add Borders/10 pixels/Background Colour
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels/#9e2432
Using the Magic Wand select the 10 pixel border as shown below:

Maximise Signature.png
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place at bottom of Layer

Add your Watermark
Layers/Merge All Flatten
Image/Resize/900 pixels wide - height will adjust itself
File/Export/JPEG Optimiser/Compression Value 20
