Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #dfe6e9
Set your Background colour to #9abaab

Step One:
Open Mask and Minimise
Place Pattern in PSP Pattern Folder

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.


File/New/New Image 1000 pixels x 650 pixels as follows:



Step Two:
Change Foreground Colour to Foreground/Background Sunburst Gradient as follows:



Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Selections/Select All
Maximise your Main Image of a fairy
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste into Selection
Selection/Select None

Step Three:
Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling/Default Settings
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur as follows:



Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur as follows:



Effects/Plugins/DSB Flux/Bright Noise as follows:



Step Four:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image (find Narah_mask_Abstract80.jpg) as follows:



Effects/Edge Effect/Enhance
Layers/Merge/Merge Group
Effects/Plugins/MuRa's Seamless/Emboss at Alpha

Step Five:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask from Image (find sg_flower-diagonal.jpg) 
Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance
Layers/Merge/Merge Group
Effects/Image Effects/Offset as follows:



Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow as follows:



Step Six:
Maximise your misted background image
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Objects/Align/Top
Change Blend Mode to Overlay or blend of your choice
I changed my opacity to 55%
Edit/Copy Special   Edit/Copy Merged
Edit/Paste as New Layer
Effects/Plugins/MuRa's Meister/Perspective Tiling as follows:



Effects/Reflection Effects/Rotating Mirror as follows:



Step Seven:
Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Saturation Emboss as follows:



Magic Wand with the following settings:



Hit the delete button 2 times
Selections/Select None

Step Eight:
Maximise your Main image of a fairy
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Image resize to approximately 400 pixels x 400 pixels
Place at the bottom right of the Layer
(see my image for placement)
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow as follows:



Step Nine:
Maximise Image of Fairy no 2
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste as New Layer
My image was approximately 300 pixels x 300 pixels
Place at the left of the Layer
(see my image for placement)
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Maximise mushroom image
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste as New Layer
Layers/Arrange/Move Down
I offset the image as follows:



You may need to adjust those settings to suit your image
Change Blend Mode to Luminance or blend of your choice
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow as follows:



Step Ten:
Select Raster 3
Maximise Fairy_Dust_Silvie_07.png
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place in the top right corner
(see my image for placement)
Select Layer at top of pile
Maximise D.D.Text.png
Edit/Copy  Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place in to top left corner
Selections/Select All
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels/Background Colour
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout as follows:

Step Eleven:
Image/Add Borders/5 pixels/White

Change Background Colour to Pattern GOLD2.bmp as follows:

Flood fill with Background Pattern BUT  change the settings to as follows:

Step Fourteen:
Selections/Modify/Contract 16 pixels
Layers/New Raster Layer
Change Foreground Gradient to Linear Gradient as follows:



Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Effects/Plugins/DSB Flux/Bright Noise
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel
Selections/Select None

Step Fifteen:
Maximise D.D.Deco1.png
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Maximise Signature.png
Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste as New Layer
Place at bottom of Layer
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add your Watermark
Layers/Merge All Flatten
Image/Resize/1000 pixels wide - height will adjust itself

File/Export/JPEG Optimiser/Compression Value 20
