Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.




   
Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.

Set your Foreground colour to #8d676d
Set your Background colour to #d2ceac



Step One:

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

Open Alpha Channel
Duplicate and close Original Alpha Channel
We will work on this copy where the selections are hidden
Rename Copy of Alpha Channel Layer - Raster 1

Selections/Select All
Maximise Background.jpg
Edit/Copy    Edit/Paste into Selection
Select None
Effect/Plugins/Artistic/Paint Daubs as follows:



Step Two:
Layers/Duplicate
Effects/Plugins/Medhi/Sorting Tiles as follows:



Change Blend Mode to Multiply or blend of your choice
Change Opacity to 65%
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen More

Step Three:
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection #1 from Alpha Channel
Promote Selection to Layer
Effects/Plugins/Artistic/Watercolor as follows:



Selections/Modify/Select Selection Borders as follows:



Change Foreground Colour to Foreground/Background Sunburst Gradient as follows:



Layer/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with Foreground Gradient
Effect/Plugins/(AFS IMPORT) sqborder2 as follows:

Repeat Shadowlab/Direction 135
Selection/Select None

Step Four:
Selections/Load/Save Selection #1 from Alpha Channel

Carefully remove the tuber's watermark
Change Blend Mode to Darken

Step Five:

Change Blend Mode to Overlay
Change Opacity to 75%

Promote Selection to Layer
Layers/Arrange/Bring to top

Selections/Select None

Move Layer down to under Promoted Selection Layer

Effect/Plugins/Carolaine & Sensibility/CS-LDots as follows:

Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen

Step Eight:
Select Raster 1

File/Export/JPEG Optimiser/Compression Value 20
