Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #c3dbff
Set your Background colour to #79729d

Step One:
Place Mask in PSP Mask Folder

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

Open Alpha Channel
Duplicate and close Original Alpha Channel
We will work on the copy which contains the invisible selections

Change Foreground Colour to Foreground/Background/Linear Gradient as follows:

Flood fill with Gradient

Step Two:
Selections/Select All

Edit/Copy   Edit/Paste into Selection
Selection/Select None
Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur/Spin as follows:

Step Three:
Using Deform/Pick Tool, pull the layer down from the top to 600 pixels as shown below:

Deselect Deform/Pick Tool

Step Four:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection #1 from Alpha Channel
Flood fill with Background Colour
Tools/Eraser Tool with the following settings:

Using the Eraser Tool and the left button on the Mouse, wipe down the selection in one movement as follows:

Step Five:
Selections/Modify/Select Selection Borders/2 pixels outside as follows:

Minimise for now
Back to original work

Maximise the image made earlier
