Before opening PSP, download plugins and install

Some helpful information:

You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.



Place Selections in PSP Selection Folder
Place Pattern in PSP Pattern Folder
Place Masks in PSP Mask Folder
Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #faf7ec
Set your Background colour to #e5d2c5

Step One:
File/New/New Image 700 pixels x 500 pixels as follows:



Change Foreground to Foreground/Background Radial Gradient as follows;



Flood Fill with Gradient
Effects/Texture Effects/Weave as follows:



Step Two:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Change Background to Pattern jule_lace_bg4 as follows:

Step Seven:
Select the Pick/Deform Tool as follows:



Drag the edge of lace over to the 70 pixel mark as follows:



Deselect Pick/Deform Tool
Mesh Warp Tool with the following settings:



Tool is found here on my version of PSP.                         
 It may be in another position on other versions:
   PSP X7       PSP 9

This is what you will have now and the arrows show the points we will be using



Starting at the first point as shown above, drag the cursor across to the ribbon line as shown below.
Do this for every third point along the line



Click the Apply tick as shown below:



Step Eight:
Deselect Mesh Warp Tool.
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen
Layers/Duplicate   Image/Mirror
Layers/Merge/Merge Down
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 3.0/Drop Shadow as follows:



Repeat Drop Shadow with Direction 135
(If you are using a different image or colour you may need to adjusty Drop Shadow to suit)

Step Nine:
Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selection D.D.Grandma'sLittleDarling2 from Disk
Select Group Raster 2 Layer - Hit the delete button
Selections/Modify/Select Selection Borders/as follows:



Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with Background Colour
Effects/Plugins/Penta/Colour Dot BUT change Distance to 2
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel as follows:



Selections/Select None

Step Ten:
