This Tutorial was originally created in PSPX5 and reworked

Before opening PSP, download plugins and install
You can change the blend mode, opacity and drop shadow, as well as colourise the materials,
according to the tubes/colours you are using.

When applying the Resize with the All Layers option checked, this will be informed in the tutorial,
otherwise, apply the resize with this option unchecked.

Remember always to save your work.

Whenever you reduce an image, apply Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen, to maintain the sharpness of the image.

Some tools or features have other names in earlier versions of the PSP.

Please Note:   Offset settings provided in this tutorial may vary according to size of your image.
Please adjust to suit.

The settings remain the same throughout this Tutorial unless otherwise stated.
Set your Foreground colour to #d7cfbf
Set your Background colour to #b2a473

Step One:
Place Preset Shape in PSP Preset Shape Folder
Install Preset

Open graphics in PSP, duplicate (Shift D) and close the original.

File/New/New Image 800 pixels x 550 pixels as follows:



Step Two:
Change Foreground Colour to Pattern 11 as follows:



Go to Texture Box and change to the following:



For other versions this is the setting for PSP9:


Flood fill with Pattern/Texture
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen

Step Three:
Selections/Select All
Selections/Modify/Contract 20 pixels
Selections/Invert

Swap the Foreground Pattern and Background Colour as follows:



Close off the Background Pattern
Preset Shape Tool/Dodecagon Shape with the following settings:



Pull out the shape till it fills the area as shown below:



Convert to Raster Layer
Swap Foreground and Background again to original settings

Step Eight:
Magic Wand with the following settings:



Select the area outside the dodecagon as follows:



Selections/Modify/Expand 5 pixels

Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom
Flood Fill with Foreground Colour
